Mokum Mediation

MokumMediation supports people who are (threatening to) come into conflict with their (social) network, and thereby risk becoming homeless. Mokum Mediation mediates and offers mediation. The goal is to prevent (further) escalation and/or resolve conflicts and to ensure that someone can continue to live at home. The method of MokumMediation is described in collaboration with perMens. Mokum Mediation focuses on homeless young people and adults, but also on people who are at risk of losing their homes. A mix of mediation and care experience ensures that mediation is provided by an independent party with expertise to prevent people from becoming homeless or in the care of services. The goal is to prevent someone from ending up on the street or in a shelter and to preserve the valuable relationships/ties in the network that are under pressure.
