NBE Dance

The Nederlands Blazers Ensemble (NBE) is a group of over twenty top musicians who perform special, theatrical music programs that are rarely captured under one musical label. With shared passion and a hunger for adventure, the Blazers are always looking for intriguing collaborations with musicians from other cultures and crossovers with other disciplines. With innovative programs, the NBE wants to surprise, move, and stimulate a large audience. The NBE was founded in the early sixties by members of the Concertgebouw Orchestra. Brandt Attema is the new artistic leader of the Nederlands Blazers Ensemble (NBE) since the 2024/2025 season, he follows Bart Schneemann. The NBE also attaches great importance to making music with and for the less fortunate and in places where live music does not often sound. The NBE educates young people and helps them compose their own music.
