SO Mikado

SO-VSO Mikado is a school for special primary and secondary education for children with severe learning disabilities (ZMLK). The school aims to prepare students for the most independent participation possible in society in the areas of learning, work/day care, living, and leisure. The school emphasizes what students can do and adapts its education to their abilities. The school is part of Punt Speciaal underwijsgroep, which has six schools in four regions. SO Mikado offers education to students from 4 to a maximum of 20 years old with a specific support need: students with learning difficulties, a physical and/or mental disability, an illness or a combination of these. SO-VSO Mikado provides tailored education for each student. They also offer individual customized pathways toward the exit destination, where they shape the starting points of the vision.
