Hoeve Onderweg

Hoeve Onderweg is a farm with dairy cows, calves, sheep, a donkey, chickens, a rooster, goats, rabbits, cats, a guinea pig and a dog. It is a care farm specializing in guiding people with (intellectual) disabilities and those who have a (temporary) distance from the labor market. Hoeve Onderweg provides a safe and welcoming environment for people with mental and/or physical disabilities or other mental health issues. Activities include caring for the animals, working in the garden, and participating in creative projects. John and Agnes van Paassen run the farm and offer a variety of activities. The farm offers care and guidance to young people and (young) adults with mild intellectual and/or physical disabilities. They also welcome people with an autism spectrum disorder, ADHD or other mental problems. They offer a custom made day schedule based on interests and goals. Hoeve Onderweg offers various arrangements to discover farm life and the surroundings. This includes inspiring business, educational and creative meetings. But also as a stopover or meeting place for sports activities, such as walks and bike rides. They are a member of the Vereniging Zorgboeren Zuid-Holland.
