Room First

Room First is a program of CVD (a social organization in Rotterdam) providing a room where homeless people can take steps to find their own home. The location is located in the center of Rotterdam at Henegouwerlaan 85. The goal is for clients to learn the right skills to be able to move on to independent housing within the shortest possible period. The program is part of the 'Room First' concept of CVD, where homeless people are assigned a room from which they can take steps to find their own home. Room First is a facility for 30 Rotterdammers who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
